So yeah, relationships go through all sorts of changes as many of us are accustomed to knowing that. One of the things in particular is break-ups. It's pretty pathetic when you are in conversation with friends and you mention my ex, and they all say "which one sweetie, because you have a few.." that I began to realize a trend.

Well I made a commitment to myself just about 2 years ago, the next lasting relationship I entered would be the last, no matter how it turned out. I met a very great man. Kind hearted, determined individual, he has great morals, I could go on. For various reasons after a lengthy time together he had to end the relationship just recently. Although I am extremely heart broken & I do love him very much, I understand why. He will be gone for a while. I have to respect his decision I guess. I told him I would be willing to accept him back when he returns because in my eyes there is no one else, & I have no apparent need to date again. Everyone feels that I am being crazy for not wanting to date again, and wanting to 'wait' to see if he will want to take a chance with me when he returns. But in my heart I feel that he is the only one for me, the only man that I want around.

I dont want to get back out into the dating thing just to set myself up for another failure. I mean have you ever heard any of the lame pick up lines that the men try to use on us women?? I'll give you the worst I have heard, and guys actually think they are going to get somewhere with sophisticated intelligent women such as ourselves!! Too funny!! So yes, mean while I may feel like I am all tied up in knots, but that is okay, even if there may be an ounce of hope later, even if not, I am choosing not to let myself get hurt again. I am only devoting my heart to one man.

These among the typical jerks out there is why I refuse to date again! Stupidity men!!! Learn how to treat a lady and respect her, you might have a better chance!
